Gear cutting capabilities
Gears are the most common type of gear in modern mechanical engineering and instrument making. They are used to transfer power from fractions (quartz watch mechanism) to tens of thousands of kilowatts (large ball mills, crushers, kilns) at peripheral speeds up to 150 m/s and gear ratios up to several hundred and even thousands, with wheel diameters from fractions millimeter up to 6000mm or more.
Gears are - cylindrical with external gearing (oblique, straight or chevron); rack, cylindrical with internal gearing; screw, conical.
To date, PJSC "Dnepropolymermash" has mastered the production and production of the above gears on gears and rims with a diameter of up to 5000 mm, a height of up to 800 mm and a tooth module of up to 60 and gear shafts of a length of up to 3200 mm, a barrel diameter of up to 600 mm and a tooth module of up to 80. This became possible after the acquisition of such CNC machining centers as Doosan DBC130L and PRAGMA, gear cutting is carried out according to the program excluding the human factor and allows achieving a tooth cleanliness from under the cutter Ra 3.2.
